Alpaca mix is a nutritionally balanced, quality feed supplement suitable for all alpacas. Alpaca mix is a complete formulation ideal for supplementing poorer quality pastures. This product contains 12% protein and 11 Mj/kg of metabolizable energy., and contains good levels of calcium & phosphorus, which are both essential for growing stock and lactating hembras. Alpaca mix is formulated to be fed at up to one third of the daily intake [approx. 500 grams per head per day adult alpacas]. Although alpacas are not greedy eaters, this product also contains a reasonable amount of salt and lucerne to prevent any engorgement problems.
