Copper Sulphate

Copper Sulphate, also known as bluestone, is a blue crystalline product containing the trace element copper. It is widely used for a variety of animal health applications and traditional remedies including control of fungal diseases, cattle footbaths, correcting copper-deficient soils or feed rations. Copper is needed in hemoglobin synthesis and is a component in many enzyme systems in the production of the hair and the skin pigment melanin, the formation of connective tissues, and the function of the immune system. Some general signs of copper deficiency include Anemia, Abnormal appetite, reduced growth rate, failure in hair, steely wool, Abnormal skeletal development, reduced protein synthesis, nerve disorders, lameness, diarrhea, weak broken bones, cardiovascular disorders, and reproductive failure. Copper isa trace element or micro mineral and is only required in small amounts.
